Culture is essential when studying a foreign language. Immersing yourself in the culture you’re studying can be done in many ways. Tasting the traditional cuisine is of course one of the best. That’s why our students got to taste a Full English breakfast.
Sometimes called a Fry up, a full English is a hearty breakfast dish served in the UK. It is a very popular dish, so much so that it is now offered all over the globe. Bacon, sausages, fried eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast and beans all on one plate and you get one of the world’s most liked breakfast dishes.
So now, it was our students’ turn to express their opinion on this recipe. After having eaten their breakfast, our students were asked to say what they liked or didn’t like about it. Would they like to eat this on a daily basis? Would they change anything in the recipe?
I think it’s safe to say that all our third graders enjoyed it!
Now, it’s your turn to taste a Full English breakfast.
The English Breakfast was organized by the English language teachers, Miss Rania Angeli, Miss Eva Morphiadou and Miss Effie Asvesta.
A huge thank you to Restpoint for hosting this breakfast.
