Our Nursery school students celebrated Halloween on Monday, 31st October. Once October came, they were excited that at the end of it, we would be celebrating the traditional holiday of the USA and the UK.

We started our week by making baskets to use for trick or treating. We also learned a few words that are related to Halloween, such as pumpkin, spider, bat, witch, trick or treat and Happy Halloween. As the week progressed, we made our own interactive haunted houses, and we worked together as a class to make a giant Haunted House to decorate in our classroom. We danced to and sang Halloween songs.
The Halloween celebration took place on Monday during our English lessons, where the children, as well as their English teachers, dressed up in their costumes. We went trick-or-treating and played spooky games. It was a fantastic day and the children had fun learning about the Halloween customs.
How did you celebrate Halloween this year?
