On Friday 29th October Rodion Pedia High School students enjoyed their Halloween celebrations. To ensure students got into the mood, their English teachers (Mrs. Lynne Simeonidi, Mr. Peter Alatsas and Ms. Frances Boniface) dressed up as scary clowns while Mrs. Rania Angelis was dressed as a wicked witch for her Primary classes.

All classes did special Halloween-themed lessons with fun videos and accompanying worksheets. A Gymnasio watched excerpts from Roald Dahl’s ‘Witches’ and B Gymnasio learnt about how Dracula became the most famous vampire of all. G Gymnasio was shown a video about how to protect themselves from a zombie attack while A Lykeio watched a cartoon about the history of cemeteries and what dead bodies can teach us centuries after people’s  deaths.

The fun and games continued in the break with Mrs Lynne Simeonidi and Mr Peter Alatsas blowing up balloons and playing pranks on the students.

Have a happy, and above all, scary Halloween!
